With an idea to promote Social interaction among the people of Gada Biradari, a meeting was organized by Mr. Sikandar Hayat on 28.11.04 in Heinz Club. For this meeting, he invited about 100 persons of Biradari residing in various parts of Delhi. The meeting was attented by 85 persons of Biradari. Mr.Sikandar Hayat Put up a questionnaire to know the views of all the present people about the need of forming an Association of Biradari in Delhi-NCR. All the people put up their views in writing as well as verbal in favour of forming an Association. Finally to give the physical shape to the Association a committee comprising of the following eight members, has been formed.
It has also been resolved that the above said committee will finalize the Memorandum and Rules & Regulations of the Association and will also get it registered with the Registrar of societies.
The above said committee after discussing at length and making a lot of corrections, modification in the draft which was prepared and put up by Mr. Sikandar Hayat, finalized the Memorandum and Rules & Regulations of the Association and that the name of the Association will be Gada Welfare Association, Delhi. The committee also resolved that Mr. Sikandar Hayat shall be the President of the adhoc executive committee and authorized him to finalize the names of rest of the office-bearers and members of the adhoc executive committee. The committee also resolved that Mr. Sikandar Hayat shall get the Association registered with the Registrar of Societies. The term for the adhoc executive committee was fixed for six months.
The Association was registered with the Registrar of Societies on 9th February 2005 Vide No.51493 of 2005.
The adhoc executive committee in its first meeting on 20.02 .05 finalized and nominated the following persons as patron of the Association for life time as per constitution.
In the same meeting the membership drive started and Mr. Mohd Murtaza Ali was the person who enrolled as the first member of the Gada Welfare Association.
