Ever since I came to Delhi in search of bread and butter I have been desirous of doing something to unite and congregate the Biradri members living in and around Delhi. This thrust took me to various places and met various people of the Biradri.

My search revealed that continuous division of Agricultural land had forced a number of persons of Biradri to get out their original habitats in search of employments. This has resulted that a considerable number of persons of our Biradri have moved to the NCT area in the recent years.

Such is the economic pressure of the changing times that the Biradri went all out to impart education to their children.This is the most satisfying that in comparison to other Biradaries,our biradari has achieved tremendous success in the field of education. Now our people are working in every field of life.

I often felt the need of social interaction and importance of social gatherings among the Biradri people which helps in developing the mutual cooperation and building confidence.

With this motto, I started to work on preparing a directory of people of Gada Biradri residing in and around Delhi about two years back. Later I realized that it was not an easy job. However slowly but steadily I continued my efforts in this direction. On 28th November 2004, I organized a meeting of about one hundred members of Gada Biradri residing in and around Delhi I was encouraged that people responded overwhelmingly and all those present expressed the need of forming an association of Biradri in Delhi. The august gathering endorsed my view to prepare a Gada Directory. With the grace of almighty ALLAH and due to the encouraging and cooperative attitude of all the people of Biradri “Gada Welfare Association, Delhi” could be formed and got registered with the Registrar of Societies, Delhi on 9th February 2005. At present there are one hundred and fifty two members on the rolls of the Association.

Today, I am pleased to lay before you 'Gada Directory' which is the result of untiring efforts of every member of Gada Welfare association, Delhi. In fact any directory can never be a complete one and it needs changes with time. It is the first step in this direction and shall be upgraded and improved after regular intervals of time. Any suggestion in this regard are welcome and shall be appreciated which can be intimate to the office of the Association about the corrections/ mistakes to be corrected or the particulars of those people of Biradri who could not be included in this directory. Being the first attempt, there are bound to be mistakes and discrepancies. However, there is always scope for improvement.

I, on behalf of the Gada Welfare Association, Delhi thank with the depth of my heart to the Almighty ALLAH and all those who have extended valuable cooperation even a little bit in preparing this directory in any way. Hope that this effort of the Gada Welfare Association, Delhi in preparing this Directory shall be appreciated and useful to interact.
